Tabassum Dasu, the founder of DASU has always had a passion for fashion and style. Having studied and graduated with a first class BA in Fashion Design, Tabassum is well aware of how to curate a unique collection that fits in with trends. She has acquired a signature understanding of modest fashion due to years of research and studies. 

After graduating in 2019 Tabassum was presented with wonderful opportunities such as being featured in London Graduate Fashion Week, being a guest on BBC Radio Lancashire and several features in local newspapers. The exciting events soon came to a halt once COVID -19 resulted in a worldwide pandemic. The drastic turn of events led to Tabassum cancelling all catwalks and events that were booked in for the following year and as a result the clothing venture was brought to an end. A gap in her dream career was taken out to embark in a PGCE degree which resulted in a very fulfilling job at a secondary school where she now teaches her lifelong passion of textiles. This sparked up the motivation to reset her fashion brand, this time with greater intentions and the ethos to show her students the sky is the limit. After many months of hard work, effort and dedication, the launch of DASU was established. A fashion brand that has ethics as its focal point and an ethos to prioritise purpose over profit.

The designs are inspired by ongoing trends resulting in timeless contemporary wear balanced with traditional roots. Dasu's signature aesthetic illustrates stylish modest-wear with attention to feminine fabrics, simple silhouettes and delicate details.
